Developing, Marketing & Financing CLT Homes

The development, marketing, and financing of resale-restricted, owner-occupied homes on land that is leased land from a CLT can present a unique set of challenges.   The materials collected (or referenced) in this section of the CLT RESOURCE CENTER: examine issues that arise when developing CLT homes and using HOME and other public subsidies to make these homes affordable; review lender concerns when they are asked to finance CLT homes; provide tips on marketing CLT homes and selecting CLT homebuyers; and offer easy access to the lease rider, appraisal guidelines, and other advisories issued by Fannie Mae.
