Fannie Mae Uniform Rider to CLT Ground Lease
In 2001, Fannie Mae agreed to the "Community Land Trust Option", creating the potential for CLT homebuyers to access Fannie Mae mortgage products. Modifications to CLT ground leases required by Fannie Mae were stipulated in a "Uniform Rider" to be attached to any CLT ground lease in situations when CLT homebuyers have obtained a Fannie Mae mortgage.
