Condominiums and CLTs
For a variety of reasons, condominiums are increasingly being developed as housing options for limited-income households. Condominiums create unique challenges for CLTs, although there are established precedents for bringing condos into a CLT's portfolio of permanently affordable homes. John Davis addressed issues around condos and CLTs in his 2001 publication, Development without Displacement: Issues and Options in Creating a Community Land Trust.
